FI know we love our long locks but sometimes shorter hair appears thicker. If you have fine and/or thin hair, you may want to consider doing a chop.

When you work with me, I want you to feel comfortable. I want you to have a say in what your hairstyle is going to look like. You are the one wearing it and your opinion matters to me! Keep in mind that hair color and styles depend on your length and density. We may have to work toward a color or I may ask you to gradually go for a new hairstyle.

My guest in this photo has been through a year of unbearable life stressors (we all have those). Her hair is fine and thin. She has some recent health issues and her hair was down to her bra strap. We talked about taking off a few inches and then she showed me a photo of a short angled bob. That is a big yes! I love long hair but hers was doing nothing but dragging her down, literally and emotionally.

or those of you that are liking the look of tousled curls, I have some tips for you. First, you must use a leave-in conditioner AND a thermal protectant (ours is Thermal 2 Twenty). And if you have fine thin hair, stop using a curling iron and use a curl brush. If you need help finding one, look for the “Phoebe” on Amazon.
