Ya’ll, the going grey process is for real! I am finding out that it is easy to color your hair and hard to NOT color your hair!

January 2022 I decided to let my natural hair color come in. Obviously letting it grow completely out is difficult. Keep in mind that I look in a mirror ALL DAY LONG so seeing half and half hair color is not an option. I am greyer at the crown and in the back of my head which is unusual, but a good thing. Three times during the year I do about eight foils only in the top(and use Organic Colour Systems exclusively). This blends my grey.

I help many people achieve the going grey process. One thing I always suggest is to cut off as much as you are willing to let go of so that the old color goes quickly. I like my length so this will be more difficult for me to do. As you can see in this photo, I am cutting more layers which will also get rid of the color on the ends. I even cut bangs!

Fast forward to February 2023 and I am REALLY starting to see the grey and I am excited (this takes patience). More than likely it will take me another year to get all of the old color off. If you think this may be something you want to do, contact me!
