What to do with your old color?  This guest wants to change so we are ombre blending with babylights.  As we go into Fall, some of the older color can lose its oomph.  That is normal and there are many options to try.

Ombre blending can be done by adding babylights, going for a money piece, balayage, etc.  Since this person is doing all over color retouches (for grey coverage) she wants to brighten up the root area.  She also wants very little maintenance.  That is why I am going with babylights.

Since we will be blending this ombre color while covering grey, I do a partial highlight with baby fine foils. Now she can continue to add color through the root area.  For the next appointment, we are going to add a “money piece” and have a totally new look.
