Hair is usually associated with beauty. And healthy hair is more dazzling so read on for my professional tips! Be it, men or women, we all want the best of our hair.
Have you ever seen anyone, especially women, fully satisfied with their hair? Not really! This is because everyone wants their hair to be the best all the time, which is practically impossible.
Having healthy hair is kind of like getting your body back in shape. It doesn’t happen overnight. Rather it takes time and a little effort. But don’t be discouraged, it will happen! Sometimes we need to focus on our diet and exercise. And sometimes we just need to figure out a routine that works best for us. That’s where I can help! For a free consultation, contact me today!
The first tip, cleansing, and caring should be evaluated. Hair only needs shampooing every couple of days. You should always massage during your shampoo to stimulate as well as cleanses the scalp. Always condition after shampooing. The Organic Colour Systems products I carry in the salon are gentle, have quality ingredients and are affordable.
Next, detangle hair after you apply a leave-in conditioner (you don’t have to apply it to the scalp area). Starting detangling at the bottom and work your way up to the scalp. Hair is stretched as far as it can stretch when it is wet. So if you start at the top, you risk breaking your hair. And when you break your tresses, it just creates frizz!
Then before you blowdry, apply a mousse, gel or thermal protectant. Try to dry at the scalp first and use medium heat. You can style with a brush as you finish the blowout. Finally, use hairspray and/or a shine type product. Here in the South, we need this to protect against humidity!
Follow these tips, eat right and exercise and keep your scalp healthy to grow and maintain silky smooth hair. All of this will help you get a step closer to your dream…beautiful dazzling hair that will grab everyone’s attention!
