Chelle’s Organic Hair Salon is doing virtual consultations. Texting works well and this is how we consult for scheduling appointments. I always add a little extra time to the actual appointment for chatting live.

 

For new guests, I am asking you to send us snapshots of your hair.  First, you should send two photos of your hair in its current state. Meaning one photo of the top of your head so that I can see the amount of regrowth (aka roots). And one of the side(s) of your head, to show the length and the density of your hair. Now we are able to determine the amount of time necessary for your appointment. You can text all of this to the salon number (919)427-9582.

 

If you are wanting to change your color or start to go for a different look, please send an “inspiration photo” (or two). This should be a look that you like and want to change to – or work towards.

 

All of these photos allow us to determine

• The technique that is currently being used
• How we will go forward with your hair color and cut
• The amount of time necessary for your appointment

 

This may sound complicated but it is really easy…three to four photos:

• First = the top of your head (shows your regrowth)
• Second = the side of your hair (shows the length and density of your hair)
• Third = inspiration photos (pictures of hair that you would like to have)

 

There are a few other elements to consider when doing virtual consultations

• What is your availability?
• Will you continue with the color and cut you currently have?
• Are you looking for a change?
• Now is the time to ask questions.
• Do you have any concerns?

 

Keep in mind I always allow extra time for your first appointment! This allows us to go over the photos you text me and discuss any unanswered questions or concerns.
