This “Chili Chocolate” color is a trend that is just as rich as it sounds! And that can be two-fold for the darker hair colors is the best.  By adding spicy warm highlights, it brightens brunettes. Or it is an easy way for browns to go red!

For this sultry flavor, I like to think that brunettes are kissed with a dash of auburn.  Best of all, these shades portray the effect of sun-kissed hair, so we’re not totally leaving summer behind. 

With layers of any warm rich red placed over deep browns, the overall effect is a blend of autumn tones.  Doesn’t it give you feel like cooler temps are in the air?  of that will pair perfectly rich chocolate base color laying out in the sun, exposing the natural red pigment that makes a brunette a brunette.” 

For this guest, who is a mom to be, I need to cover her grey with the deep brown she was born with and add dimension.  The chili color on her is perfect because it gives her sun-kissed hair all winter long!  Even better for her, there will be less commitment with this tone of highlight.
