For those that like a soft-looking hair color I suggest babylights with lowlights. This can be the perfect changeover or update for a classic balayage.

Babylights are delicate, blonde highlights using a very fine color technique and works best on very fine hair. The intent is to create a dimensional blonde color that looks natural.  Its inspiration is “youthful” hair color as seen in children and should mimic a baby-blonde.

So who are the best candidates for babylights? Someone with fine hair that wants a noticeable difference in color.  But not as drastic as ombre’ and not as thick as balayage.  

The guest shown below is a natural level 4-5, medium to light brown.  The color she came to me with was very solid.  She would like to be a “blonde with depth and dimension”.  By adding the babylights with lowlights using Organic Colour Systems the look is soft and makes a big impact.
