Have you ever thought about how long is long enough to donate? Usually, it is a minimum of eleven inches. And it needs to be hair that is not color treated.

This could be different now but when I help Wigs for Kids they ask for virgin hair. Another interesting fact is that it takes five to eight donations before they can even begin a wig!
