For a natural “blend”, I like to use multiple tones on grey hair. This gives a beautiful soft grey blending without having to be in the salon so often!
These days women are embracing their grey and some are even going grey. There is a graceful way to do this and I enjoy helping my guests do this. There are several aspects that come into the decision-making. First, do you want to stop coloring altogether? Next, do you just want to visit the salon less often? Or, are you looking for a way to soften your grey hair appearance and continue coloring less frequently? Once we figure out the path you want to take, we focus on the journey and how to achieve your desired look. And we use Organic Colour Systems exclusively!
Keep in mind that the path we choose may take a few salon sessions to accomplish. During this time, if there is something you are not a hundred percent with, I want you to feel completely comfortable communicating this with me. I can’t fix what I don’t know is wrong. I always ask that you go home and shampoo style it yourself at least once. If we need to tweak it, let me know then. Please do not wait more than three days to let me know what you are thinking.
For the lady in this photo, she thought she wanted to stop coloring altogether. Then she decides that she is not ready to be completely grey, which is when she came to me. After our initial consult, we chose to do a partial foil highlight. The next day she calls me to tell me she would like more dimension and more coverage. At this point, we decide to do high and low lights with a heavier foil. Bingo! This made her feel good and she loves the look.
She is in the salon about every eight to ten weeks and feels good about the multiple tones on her grey! This is why I love what I do! Communication is key and you can contact me anytime!
