Check out this base color with highlights I did before quarantine! Once I get back into the salon, I will be brightening, highlighting and covering grey again.
For this guest, I am doing a light brown base color. Then I paint a few blonde pieces for a bit of brightness using Organic Colour Systems Naturlite. By coloring and highlighting like this, there is a very natural appearance. Instead of doing the brighter pieces every session, they can be done every other or so.
As we go through these uncertain times and sheltering in place, I will be sharing some of my favorite work. Once we see it is safe to gather, I will begin scheduling appointments. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try to wait for your next salon appointment to color your hair! Base color may look easy to do however matching is the trick. If you MUST, do your best to use a lighter color. This makes it easier for me to blend. Which in turn means no corrective color!
