Salon Centric hosts a continuing education event at the Cedar Room every year.  For me, this class is fun to attend. And I always learn something. This is one of several educational events I keep up with.

 

With several educators on the stage, the shows starts with Hollie Haskins.  She shows us balayage essentials, air painting and adding dimension.  On top of those tips, she shares how to customize these tricks to our clients. 

 

Next, three wonderful Redken educators show us how to translate street trends to salon application.  They also help understand why businesses need to up social media skills to drive new business. Twylla Jane, Laura Frazier, and Becka Bradshaw are impressive stylists and educators.

 

Celebrity stylist and motivational speaker Daniel Mason-Jones closes out the day!  His mission is to elevate the salon industry by inspiring stylists to be better.  He is so empowering in everything he does.  And everything he does is so selfless! I could listen to this man for hours on end every single day!!!

 

Needless to say, the Salon Centric continuing education event is one that I find inspiring and motivating.  Even though I am exclusively using Organic Colour Systems, I love all education!

 

This is part of how I, as a stylist, grow.  It is also how I stay up to date.
