Face framing or money piece is a popular technique concentrating foil placement bordering the face.  The lighter colored hair around your face adds visual interest and draws attention to your face. These highlights can accentuate eye color, bring out cheekbones, and even slim faces. They show off the lines of your hair cut, create depth, and even give an illusion of fullness.
